"พุทธสายตรง" หมายถึงชาวพุทธที่มีความเชื่อว่า พระพุทธองค์และพระอรหันต์ยังทรงพระชนม์หรือดำรงสภาวะอยู่ในพระนิพพาน สามารถติดต่อสื่อสารได้ ชาวพุทธจึงมีพิธีถวายข้าวพระพุทธ ตั้งจิตอธิษฐานของให้พระพุทธองค์หรือพระอรหันต์ปกปักษ์รักษาให้ความคุ้มครอง หากภูมิของจิตเข้าถึงระดับสูง                                    "Buddha Direct" is an orthordox Buddhist belief that God Buddha, all the Buddhas (Englightened ones) and Arahanta  are still alive and live eternally in the Nippana. They answer to your prayers and descend to earth to protect you from devils and mara.  You can eventually communicate with them after attainment of high level meditation.

ไม่เชื่อ เพราะได้ร่ำเรียนมาว่า พระพุทธองค์และพระอรหันต์ดับสูญดับสิ้น (ปรินิพพาน)แล้ว  I don't believe it.  I learned in school that God Buddha and Arahanta  passed away.
